We have been helping business analysts for 3 years through promotional data from retailer catalogs in the FMCG (Fast-moving consumer goods) and CPG (Consumer Packaged Goods) segments which we extract one promotion into 10 properties and 25 derived properties.
We collect every catalog editions such as weekday, weekend, weekly, biweekly,and monthly catalog edition from popular retailers, include in-store catalog, mailer catalog, newspaper, and social media. Then we clip the catalog on one by one promotion.
To make a single promotion capable of being partitioned for analysis purposes, we extract it into 10 properties and 25 derived properties consisting of interconnected parts.
We cater promotional data into table of properties and add more fields to help you gain a better insight, such as Normal Price/pcs, Promo Price/pcs, etc.

To ensure our data is free from error, it is processed through 3 stages.
After all promotions have been inputted, our EDP rechecks the input results immediately and signs each input digitally.
Supervisors double-check the promotional input results to ensure the input is error free.
Promotional data is rechecked and matched empirically with historical data to transform promotions without normal prices or with price ranges.
